Adult Education Adult Education 2010 The
Donahies has been providing courses for adults over the past thirty years.
Since the 1980’s adult education has continued to grow and develop. There
was an obvious Emphasis on hobby and leisure classes in those early days. Many
classes are held in the evenings when the building is really empty. However,
our daytime students are also now well used to seeing our older students,
happily heading to their classrooms each morning. This is a visible witness to
the concept of “Life Long Learning”. Our aim in Adult Education is to provide a wide range of courses, to cater for a variety of needs and interests. The most recent Brochure (September 2010) shows a wide range of classes. Follow the link below to the times of enrolement for the following year and the list of classes.Enrolments times for all classes from Monday 13th September 2010 9.00am-12.15pm (daily Mon-Fri) and Monday 13th / Tuesday 14th and Monday 20th 7.00-9.00pm.
